Some more technicalities of this?

For each entry, a Discourse topic was created via the Discourse API.

Answers were added as Discourse topics. For now, the original timestamp of each topic has been adopted as the timestamp for the whole discussion, as it has been observed that on average, timelines spanned over a few days.

The tagging of each entry was maintained, in order to enhance usability in the search process.

In order to import the contents, the accounts of the users of the old forum have been recreated.

I scrolled down the user list and found my old account. How do I get it back?

Glad to hear that! Just drop us an email and we will be happy to you send a password reset.

I’m back. Now what?

We have a special badge for contributors of the old forum - Founder. It will appear on your profile and identify you as a member of the answer.semanticweb community.

You might have noticed we also have another badge on this site - Pioneer. It is awarded to knowledge engineering specialists of various denominations who have agreed to help us out on building a solid question base for this community.
