I responded to this item because I have been seeing a lot of responses about controlled vocabularies. I think that it is great that this is a first step. In my experience, a hierarchical structure was often imposed on end products and vocabularies can be manipulated to fit end products. I think having more insights into training and resources would absolutely increase attendance, simply by being able to identify what it is we are learning (with better structure). I also think that language comes into play, and taxonomies should reflect that. Knowledge graphs that demonstrate services with lots of circuitous routes and lots of reference points between relationships also may grab more engagement from those who do not have a demonstrated proficiency in either the subject or the language.
